Biography

Rāzvan Arsenescu, MD, PhD, is Associate Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition, and Director of the Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Center at The Ohio State University in Columbus. He received his MD from University of Medicine and Pharmacy Targu Mures, Romania, and PhD in immunology from the University of Kentucky in Lexington. Dr Arsenescu completed his residency in gastroenterology at University Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, and internal medicine at Nassau CO Medical Center. He has authored articles that have been published in Journal of Immunology, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and Inflammatory Bowel Diseases. Dr Arsenescu is a member of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America, American Gastroenterological Association, American Society for Gastroenterological Endoscopy, and Society for Mucosal Immunology.
